On Nov. 22 local time, the completion ceremony of the Synlait Milk's newly established No. 2 milk powder plant was held in the Synlait Milk's production base in Canterbury, New Zealand. The designed production capacity of the No. 2 plant is 50,000 tons per year and the plant's main product is the high-end infant formula milk powder Pure Canterbury.

    The production capacity of Synlait Milk's No. 1 plant is also about 50,000 tons per year, and its current products include the whole milk powder, skimmed milk powder, dehydrated cream and special milk powder. The Pure Canterbury milk powder has completed all its pre-sales procedures and will come into the market of China very soon.
